6.5.5 Playing a Chess.com game on the board#

Match the physical pieces to the online position shown in the app. That position remains the reference throughout the game.

Play a move

1. Move your piece on the physical board.
2. The app sends it to Chess.com. Continue after it is accepted.
3. For an opponent’s move, move their piece as indicated by the app and board LEDs.
4. If the physical position becomes incorrect, restore it to match the app.

Premoves and check indication

Enable Premoves in iChessOne Game Settings to queue one move while waiting. This setting controls physical-board premoves and takes priority over Chess.com-side preferences; only a legal premove is executed after the opponent’s move.

Enable Highlight King Under Attack to illuminate the king’s square when checked.
