This policy applies to all orders placed at iChessOne and should be read together with our Refund Policy.
All orders are shipped worldwide from our warehouse in Poland (European Union). Delivery times, duties, taxes, and shipping terms depend on the destination region as described below.
1. Shipping Regions & Delivery Times
European Union (EU)
• Orders ship from Poland (EU).
• Delivery time: 2-5 business days.
• VAT is included in the price.
• No additional taxes, duties, or fees on delivery.
• Standard shipping is included. Priority delivery is available at checkout.
United Kingdom
• Shipping method: FedEx DDP (Delivered Duty Paid).
• Delivery time: 3-7 business days.
• Import VAT and customs fees are covered by us. You pay nothing on delivery.
• Standard shipping is included. Priority delivery is available at checkout.
United States & Canada
• Shipments handled by FedEx / UPS / DHL.
• Delivery time: 5-10 business days.
• All duties and taxes are covered by us and included in the checkout price. You pay nothing on delivery.
• Standard shipping is included. Priority delivery is available at checkout.
Rest of World
(Australia, Asia, Middle East, South America, Africa and other non-EU destinations)
• Delivery time: 7-14 business days, depending on location.
• Standard shipping is included. Priority delivery is available at checkout.
• The applicable shipping and import-tax model for your destination is described in section 5. Customs, Duties & Taxes.
• We currently do not ship to Russia, Belarus, or Iran.
2. Shipping Fees
Standard/Economy shipping is included for orders over 100 EUR. For orders below 100 EUR, the available shipping options and costs are shown at checkout before you complete your order.
Priority delivery, can be selected at checkout. Any priority shipping cost is shown before you complete your order. Priority delivery means the carrier guarantees delivery within the stated delivery time. Economy delivery does not include a guaranteed delivery date and may take a few additional business days.
Promotional shipping messages on the website refer to standard/economy shipping unless priority delivery is specifically selected.
3. Order Processing & Dispatch
• Orders are processed and dispatched within 1-2 business days.
• During peak periods (e.g., major sales or holidays), processing may take slightly longer.
• You will receive tracking information via email once your order ships.
4. Stock Availability & Logistics
Our warehouse and production are based in Poland (European Union).
If a product is temporarily out of stock or demand is higher than expected, we may:
• ship your order in multiple parcels (for example: board first, accessories later), or
• adjust the shipping method or carrier to ensure faster delivery.
When this happens:
• We cover any additional logistics costs on our side.
• Delivery times may differ slightly from the standard estimates.
• If the change significantly affects the expected delivery time, we will notify you before dispatch.
We do not ship from any non-EU warehouses or factories.
5. Customs, Duties & Taxes
The import-tax model depends on the delivery destination and is shown before you complete your order.
EU orders - VAT included
For EU customers, VAT is included in the price shown at checkout. We use the EU VAT OSS system, so the correct VAT is handled by us based on the customer’s EU country.
EU business customers with a valid EU VAT number can place an order without VAT, where the transaction qualifies as an intra-EU B2B supply. In that case, the customer accounts for VAT in their own country under the reverse-charge rules.
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) - taxes and duties included
For the following destinations, orders are shipped with taxes and duties included:

For these destinations, standard shipping is included and import duties, VAT/GST, local taxes, and standard customs charges are covered by us. You pay nothing extra on delivery.
DAP (Delivered At Place) - import charges paid on delivery
Orders to the following destinations are shipped under DAP terms:

For these destinations, the checkout price is an export price with Standard/Economy shipping included. EU VAT is not charged. Import duties, local taxes, customs charges, and carrier collection fees are handled under the destination country’s import rules and are paid by the customer when required for delivery.

We currently do not ship to the following destinations: BY, IR, RU.
6. Incorrect Addresses & Failed Deliveries
Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete.
If a shipment cannot be delivered because the address is incorrect or incomplete, the parcel is refused, or it is not collected from a pickup point, we may charge a reshipping fee or deduct the direct return costs from any refund.
For DAP orders, the same applies if delivery fails because import duties, local taxes, customs charges, or carrier fees required for delivery are not paid.
Refunds for failed deliveries can only be processed after the parcel is returned to us and inspected.
7. Tracking & Delivery Issues
If tracking does not update for several days, or the carrier marks the parcel as delivered but you have not received it:
- Check with household members / neighbours / building reception.
- Contact the carrier with your tracking number.
- If still unresolved, email info@ichess.one.
Please report missing parcels within 7 days of the marked delivery date. This helps us open an investigation with the carrier as quickly as possible.
8. Damaged Packages
If your package arrives damaged:
- Take clear photos of the outer box and the product.
- If possible, ask the courier to note the damage.
- Email info@ichess.one within 48 hours.
Please keep the packaging until the claim is reviewed, as the carrier may request photos or additional information.
We will arrange a replacement or refund where damage is confirmed.
9. Returns & Refunds

Unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
Once we receive your return, we inspect it within 5 business days and notify you of the result.
If you return a product from outside the European Union, you are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, carrier fees, or customs clearance costs that may be charged when the product re-enters the EU. These costs are not refundable.
Warranty Policy
All iChessOne products include a limited warranty.
Nothing in this policy reduces your mandatory consumer rights.
10. Warranty Period
European Union
• 2-year limited warranty (as required by EU law).
Other Countries
• 1-year limited warranty, unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
Warranty applies to the original purchaser of products bought through official iChessOne channels or authorized resellers.
11. What the Warranty Covers
The warranty covers defects that occur during normal, intended use of the product, including:
- hardware defects,
- manufacturing faults,
- internal electronics and sensors,
- connectivity and power components,
- built-in electronics inside wooden pieces
- charging-related defects not caused by an incompatible charger, cable, power source, liquid exposure, or physical damage.
How we resolve approved warranty claims
Depending on the nature of the defect, we will choose the fastest and most appropriate solution:
- repair the product, if repair is feasible and ensures full functionality, or
- replace the product with a new or equivalent unit, or
- provide a partial or full refund upon return of the defective product.
Repairs are performed by our technical team in the EU.
Replacements are offered when repair is not practical or when a new unit provides a better customer experience.
We always aim for the solution that restores full functionality as quickly as possible.
For approved warranty claims caused by a product defect, we cover the return or replacement shipping cost and arrange the shipment using a carrier and service selected by us. Please do not send the product back before receiving our instructions.
12. What the Warranty Does Not Cover
Warranty does not apply to:
- misuse, improper handling, or physical damage
- exposure to liquids, fire, or extreme conditions
- unauthorized modifications or repairs
- cosmetic imperfections not affecting function
- damage from incompatible power supplies
- normal wear and tear, including minor cosmetic marks that do not affect the functionality of the board or pieces,
- damage caused after delivery by misuse, impact, pressure, liquid exposure, improper storage, incompatible accessories, or inadequate packaging during a return,
Any intentional damage or tampering voids the warranty.
13. Warranty for Replacement Devices
Replacements are covered for:
- the remaining period of the original warranty, or
- 90 days,
whichever is longer.
Coverage begins upon delivery of the replacement device.
14. Warranty Claims
To start a claim, email info@ichess.one with:
- order number
- purchase date
- description of the issue
- photos or video showing the problem (if possible)
Do not return products without prior instructions - unannounced returns may not be processed.
After receiving your claim, we may ask for additional information, photos, video, or basic troubleshooting steps before arranging a return. This helps us confirm the issue and choose the fastest solution.
If the product needs to be returned for inspection, we will provide return instructions and, where applicable, arrange a standard pickup or return label using a carrier and service selected by us.
If the issue is not covered by warranty after inspection, we will contact you before taking any further action. In such cases, repair, return shipping, or replacement costs may be charged to you.
