Yes. The board connects via Bluetooth Low Energy to the free, dedicated iChessOne app for iOS and Android. From there, you can play online on platforms like Lichess.org and Chess.com. Every move you make on the physical board is tracked and synchronized in real time with your online game.

Is iChessOne suitable for beginners or advanced players?

Both. It offers 25 AI levels, LED move guidance, rule enforcement, and error correction, providing beginners with the equivalent of a built-in coach. At the same time, the board is full tournament size and uses classic Staunton wooden pieces that meet FIDE standards. Thus, advanced players can train seriously both over-the-board (OTB) and online.

What exactly is included in the box, and what material is the board made of?

The standard set includes a foldable, tournament-size electronic board with a built-in battery, 34 wooden Staunton pieces (including two extra queens), a USB-C cable, a wooden phone stand,
a protective cotton bag, and storage space for all these items inside the board. The board is made from European hardwoods (beech, sycamore, and mahogany), and the full set weighs about 2.5 kg.

How long does the battery last and how do I charge the board?

The built-in rechargeable battery provides over 10 hours of play on a single charge. The board charges via USB-C and can also operate while plugged into a power bank or any standard USB power source.
